Reconvening of the Nevada Republican State Convention – June 28, 2008
By: John Russell

After an abrupt ending of the last state convention, Nevada Republican delegates continued the business that was previously left off. All business was completed (on time!) and convention business was closed. Although this meeting was held without official party consent, all rules were followed in accordance with the by-laws, Nevada state laws, and Robert’s Rules of Order. However, the validity of this convention will ultimately be decided by the national Republican party.
Special thanks to Dr. Terhune and Mr. Weber for making this convention a success.

Here are some photos as well as some footage I captured while at the convention. I apologize for the quality of some of the shots, considering I was sitting very far back. Enjoy:

  1. Who was the guy that was singing the national anthem?? He messed up on a stanza. :/
Awesome job on the resolutions Alyssa!

  2. That was Rob Archie I think. He’s running for an office here in town. Unfortunately, he left before his time to speak.

    Thanks bro!
