Libertarian Panel
By: Alyssa Cowan

This is an awesome panel discussion that Reason.tv put together. It features: LP Presidential Candidates Wayne Root, Mike Gravel, and Bob Barr; and Congressional Candidate Vern McKinley.

Gravel is a relative newcomer to the Libertarian party, so in case you don’t know how spunky he is here’s an amusing video:

I’ll admit that I have a little place in my heart for Mike Gravel, and I always get excited when people come over from the left.

The most common form of same-sex relationships between males in Greece was “paiderastia” meaning “boy love”. It was a relationship between an older male and an adolescent youth.

    Adult Male and Adult Male:
Given the importance in Greek society of cultivating the masculinity of the adult male and the perceived feminizing effect of being the passive partner, relations between adult men of comparable social status were considered highly problematic, and usually associated with social stigma. However, examples of such couples are occasionally found in the historical record.

Common practice with the Greeks were BOY LOVE, not adult man on adult man love. Although his point is interesting, unless he wants to start inviting members of NAMBLA to the military, the validity of his historical example is for the most part false.
